C3 WEST
C3West is a long term initiative of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), Sydney, with a range of cultural and industry partners. C3West places artists at the nucleus of projects designed to deliver social, economic and environmental outcomes for non arts partners. Jock initiated the project for the MCA in 1995, developing the concept and brokering the initial partnerships and projects.
Its outstanding success in forging new kinds of partnerships and its innovative approach to arts in communities and industries has been the subject of many forums and academic research.
Jock maintained a consultancy role on the C3West steering committee through till 2015. C3West is ongoing

Craig Walsh: Heads Up
Heads Up was a new body of work by Brisbane-based artist Craig Walsh, that was the result of a residency and collaboration with renowned Rugby League football club Penrith Panthers, in western Sydney, and represented the first C3West project in a gallery context.
Jeanne Van Heeswijk: Talking Trash
In April 2010, Dutch artist Jeanne van Heeswijk presented a new work for the C3West project, made in collaboration with artist Paul Sixta and the local community of Goulburn, and Liverpool, from September to December 2009. Environmental Services company Veolia was the business partner.
